Summary
The CODA-CERVA organizes under the MedVetNet sponsorship a European symposium on Q fever. The symposium is focused on veterinary and ecological aspects of C. burnetii but also Coxiella-like bacteria. Hendrik-Jan Roest of the Central Veterinary Institute is one of the speakers at this symposium.
The conference will highlight the state of the art about epidemiology, diagnosis, and control of the disease caused by Coxiella burnetii as well as its biology. It is a great opportunity for researchers in Europe to gather and share their work, identify current gaps and discuss further collaborative directions
