The program of the Regional Government of Madrid is renewed with an excellent rating by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness

III TAVS Management Meeting 

The coordinators of the different groups of the Advanced Technology Program in Health Surveillance of the Regional Government of Madrid (TAVS-CM) has met today in the VISAVET Centre of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the Third Meeting of management and coordination.

The program has recently been renovated after the excellent rating (95/100 points) by the National Evaluation Agency (ANEP) of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, in view of the results obtained in the first phase and action plans and improvement presented.

TAVS-CM is a support programe for R&D of regional interest of Regional Government of Madrid funded by the European Union which proposes the application of emerging technologies in the area of food and agriculture for improving the quality and food safety and improved efficiency systems of agricultural and livestock production, according to the purposes of FAO, EU and WHO in the coming decades. The policy framework of the program encompasses the entire food chain under the approach "farm to fork".

The relevance of TAVS-CM program lies in the application of cutting-edge technologies generation, available on the consortium members, for conducting approximations to the real problems of companies and administrations from different points of view. The purpose is to create strategies and confluent synergies that will produce effective, fast, and economically sustainable solutions that cover the complexity of the problem.
