mycoDB.eu: European Database of Animal Mycobacteriosis

mycoDB.eu is a database to collect molecular data from animal TB cases from the Member States. This database shows an updated map of the different spoligoytes in each Member State for epidemiological studies. This dabase will be updated yearly.

Protocols Database

Protocols Database includes the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in relation to the Commission Delegated Regulations (EU) 2020/688 and 2020/689 supplementing the Regulation (EU) 2016/429 ("Animal Health Law") as well as guidelines for other laboratory methods.

Publications Database

Publications Database is an online system designed to list the new scientific publications related to diagnostic techniques (culture, extraction & identification, molecular characterisation and interferon gamma detection) for animal tuberculosis.

 

Periodic searches will be carried out in scientific databases and an e-mail will be sent automatically to all NRLs/EC with the latest updates. A link to the publications will be available.

Images Database

Images Database is a repository of EU-RL images related to culture, extraction & identification, molecular characterisation and interferon gamma detection for animal tuberculosis. These images can be used under license CC-BY-NC-ND.

Reference Material Database

One of the tasks of the European Union Reference Laboratories (EU-RL) is to provide reference materials to National Reference Laboratories (NRL) (Regulation EU 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2017). These reference material could be use, among others, for validation of methodology or preparation of internal controls.

Learning Material Database

Learning Material Database includes several material to facilitate learning specific protocols for animal tuberculosis. It could include diagrams, graphic sketchs or videos to help the implementation of a protocol.
