Summary

Mycobacterium bovis is the causative agent of bovine tuberculosis, a disease that was recognized more than 100 years ago and still has significant consequences in animal and public health. The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the first Mycobacterium bovis America Regional Conference will be held in Merida, Mexico in August 2012. The conference aims to promote communication among experts in the field that leads to solutions to regional problems in the Americas. Topics will include among others, diagnostics, vaccination, epidemiology, pathogenesis, immune response, wildlife, disease control and host resistance
