Abstract:
The globalization did not only bring the implementation of an international order fiercely rooted and aligned to the world most powerful nations, but has also unleashed a war against terrorism that seems to require new tools.
The important debate on global warming, under the auspices of United Nations, shows us only a partial vision on climate change which doesn’t include the devastating impacts of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Climate on Earth could now be modified as a consequence of a new generation of sophisticated “non-lethal weapons”.
Although no evidence has been shown that this lethal technology has been used, the U.N. surely should consider the issue as an environmental threat, together with the climate impacts of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
