Mexico interested in the control of bovine tuberculosis in Spain

Rolando Garzón, subdelegate of Agriculture and Wilfrido Najera, Chief of Animal Health in Guerrero, both belonging to the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, Fishing and Food of Mexico SAGARPA visited yesterday the Health Surveillance Center (VISAVET) to know the programs, which being carried out for the eradication of bovine tuberculosis in Spain and diagnostic techniques that are used to implement it. Specifically Mexican experts came to learn more about the technique of gamma interferon.
The visit took place on September 4 and the explanation of the techniques and facilities was conducted by the center directors VISAVET, Lucas Domínguez and the director of the European Reference Laboratory for bovine tuberculosis, Lucía de Juan.
