Sabrina Rodríguez Campos and José Antonio Escudero obtain special UCM PhD Awards

Both did their scientific research in VISAVET Centre

Sabrina Rodriguez Campos obtained the special UCM PhD award 2012 for his research in the Mycobacteria Unit of VISAVET Centre, entitled Molecular epidemiology of Mycobacterium bovis and Mycobacterium caprae in Spain.

 

In other hand, José Antonio Escudero Garcia-Calderon, gets as the same award for his work Fluoroquinolone resistance in Streptococcus suis, in the Foodborne Zoonoses and Antibiotic Resistance Unit.

 

Both dissertations were defended during the 2011-2012 academic year at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

 

Sabrina currently continuing her research at the University of Bern (Switzerland) while Jose Antonio works at the Institute Pasteur (France).
