Equine viral diseases pose a risk for a breeding stud farm due to their rapid transmission and the lack of specific treatment. Viral diseases associated with reproductive problems and/or economic losses in a breeding stud farm include Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA), Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA), and Equine Herpesvirus-1/-4 (EHV-1/-4).
