Three Complutense professors among the most cited researchers in veterinary sciences
The h-index Diffusion Group updates the Ranking of the best scientists residing in Spain

The h-index Diffusion Group (DIH) has published the Ranking update of the best scientists residing in Spain according to their h-index, which measures the number of citations that scientific articles have received and is one of the most bibliometric indicators employees to evaluate the work done by a researcher and the impact of its production.
This ranking, which has 691 Spanish researchers in the health sciences area, classifies scientists with an h-index higher than 29 who work in veterinary sciences. Among the 18 researchers included are three professors from Complutense University; Lucas Domínguez and José Manuel Sánchez-Vizcaíno (VISAVET) and Luis Miguel Ortega Mora (SALUVET Innova).
Heading the list is José de la Fuente, from the SaBio Group (IREC), who together with his colleague Christian Gortázar, third in the ranking, participate in the Health Surveillance Research Group of the Complutense University.
