Dynamic of Escherichia coli integrons in slurries belonging to a finish-to-farrow pig farm

Comunicación presentada en 5th Annual Scientific Meeting on Zoonoses Research in Europe

Studies demonstrate difficulties related to antibiotic agriculture use and increase of resistance in bacteria. Integrons are DNA pieces able to capture and spread antimicrobial resistance genes, are present in Escherichia coli which easily capture these elements and are widely distributed in people and animals. This study shows the dynamics of E. coli integrons isolated from the slurry tank in a pig farm along one production cycle
