Adults are dioecious Reproductive and Digestive systems are simple The male, with 4 anterior testicles (broad and flat: 9-22 mm long and 1-2 mm wide) carrying the female (vermiform and slender: 12-28 mm long) within the hollow of its inwardly curved body (gynaecophoric canal) The dorsal surface of the tegument of the male bears small cuticula tubercles Eggs (≈180 x 60 µm) with a terminal spine and embryonated when passed in the faeces
