  • Adults: the hexagonal body (≈ 0.4-0.5 mm) has a 'waist' and the palps are greatly enlarged and end in a powerful claw, giving the appearance of an extra pair of legs
  • The legs are long and terminate in 'combs' instead of claws or suckers
